Drew Stokes, a career law enforcement officer, talks about being ambushed and shot while shopping for groceries. Drew is a federal law enforcement officer and is assigned as part of a long range flight crew. After buying food for their next flight, an attacker screamed that he hated cops and shot him 5 times. 

Drew talks about the shooting incident, the people that saved his life, the long road to recovery for he and his wife and his valiant efforts to return to full duty.

John J. Wiley is a retired Police Sergeant turned radio personality. He has been a full time FM Music Radio DJ since 2005. In 2017 he founded the Law Enforcement Today Podcast, with the assistance of Robert Greenberg. Within a couple months a radio station heard an episode of the podcast and asked him to create a radio version, which he did. It has been syndicated since the Spring of 2017 and has numerous affiliate radio stations across the US.
