Police Detective Daughter's 9-11 Attack Experience and Life After.

Police Detective Daughter's 9-11 Attack Experience and Life After. Susan Fiorentino's story, her book featuring the stories of first responder's children.

Susan Fiorentino is our guest. Susan's father is a retired NYPD Detective. She talks about her experiences during the 9-11 attack, and for the months following. Not just the impact it had on her, which was huge, but her family and many of her neighbors in Staten Island, NY. Most of her friends had family members that were either NYPD or FDNY that worked the scene of the attack. Susan discusses her struggles that impacted her greatly and her recovery. Susan has become a huge supporter and volunteer with the Stephen Siller Tunnels to Towers Foundation and is writing a book featuring the 9-11 experiences of first responder's children and is donating the proceeds to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
