Sheriff Sergeant Husband Murdered,  She's a retired Deputy. He stood over my husband Sgt. Steve Owen and assassinated him. The brutal murder of Sgt. Steve Owen told by Tania Owen, his widow and retired Deputy.

Tania Owen is our guest. She is a retired L.A. Deputy Sheriff and an immigrant from El Salvador. Tania talks about the brutal assassination style murder of her husband, Sheriff's Sergeant Steve Owen. The criminal first wounded him, then stood over him and fired four more rounds into the his body. Tania talks about her career, her experience during the murder and life for the entire family afterwards. She also talks about her passion and mission that was inspired by the murder.

John J. Wiley is a retired Police Sergeant turned radio personality. He has been a full time FM Music Radio DJ since 2005. In 2017 he founded the Law Enforcement Today Podcast, in a partnership with Robert Greenberg of Law Enforcement Today. The show is now named the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast.
Within a couple months a radio station heard an episode of the podcast and asked him to create a radio version, which he did. It has been syndicated since the Spring of 2017 and has numerous affiliate radio stations across the US.
