Although shot twice, including once in the face, she was determined to make sure the suspects didn’t get away with it. Police Officer Ann Marie Carrizales made the decision, in spite of her injuries, to get back into her police car and pursue the shooters. She discusses the event, the heroic drive and determination displayed daily by police officers all around the Country. Officer Carrizales also discusses her recovery.
