S4E87: Traumatic Brain Injury, Our Heroes Need Help. Retired Police Officer Cliborne.

Retired Orlando Fl. Police Officer Tammi Cliborne is our guest. While cross training for the Department’s Mounted Horse unit she was severely injured when the horse began bucking. The incident resulted in a traumatic brain injury, hearing loss, a spinal cord injury and ever increasing brain white matter disease. Tammi talks about her career before the training accident and how her physical, mental, emotional life has changed ever since. She discusses her long rehabilitation process and her valiant efforts to return to her career as a Police Officer. She reveals truths associated with TBI and brain white matter disease and her retirement from the Orlando Police Department. John J. Wiley is a retired Police Sergeant turned radio personality. He has been a full time FM Music Radio DJ since 2005. In 2017 he founded the Law Enforcement Today Podcast, with the assistance of Robert Greenberg. Within a couple months a radio station heard an episode of the podcast and asked him to create a radio version, which he did. It has been syndicated since the Spring of 2017 and has numerous affiliate radio stations across the US.
