S1E7: Deputy Shot, his Partner was Killed and MDPD Project HERO.

Det. Dan Ferrin from the Miami-Dade Metro Police Department joins us to discuss their incredible program Project HERO. We wish every department across the U.S. would implement this program.

Also joining us will be Deputy Michael Ackerman from the Charleston County Sheriff's Department, S.C. He'll talk about his recovery from a violent critical incident, in which his partner was killed and he suffered a severe Gun Shot Wound from an AK-47. Michael also discusses his recovery from PTSD and the amazing things that he and the Charleston County Sheriff's Department are doing to help Law Enforcement Officers across the United States.
