I am a retired police officer and criminal investigator residing in rural southern Ohio. I retired in 2023 after a career that spanned over 25 years in small town policing, including time as a patrol officer, police chief and as a criminal investigator for 3 different District Attorneys.
I earned my law degree by attending night school while working full-time in law enforcement. I also hold an Associate degree in Police Science and a Bachelors degree in Political Science.
I am direct, outspoken and have little tolerance for organizational gamesmanship or bureaucratic inertia. I am also a friend to any human being who endeavors to help himself.
I am currently an adjunct professor in the Law Enforcement Technology program at Ohio University.
