The question that I get all the time is, what type of show is the Law Enforcement Today Radio Show and Podcast?
Let's start with what it is not.
1.) It's Not A Police Only Show, or a training show for law enforcement officers. As a matter of fact, I use these examples... Is 60 Minutes for watchmakers only, or is Homicide Hunter for Homicide Detectives only?
2.) It is Not a Subject Matter Expertise Show. Although many of the guests are recognized as experts.
3.) It is Not a Partisan Politics show. As a matter of fact we do our best to make sure that politics never gets brought up.
4.) It is not an Opinion Based show.
5.) It is not an Infomercial.
Now, let's talk about what the show actually is.
1.) It's part true crime show, part cop show and a human interest show all in one.
2.) Some of our guests are active - retired Law Enforcement Officers that talk about the realities of investigating specific crimes.
3.) Other guests are Law Enforcement Officers, other first responders, military, victims of crime, their spouses, or survivors talking about trauma they experienced. How it impacted them, and how they built their lives afterward. Most of these traumas are as a result of crime.
The Law Enforcement Today Radio Show and Podcast, which started as a podcast only in 2017 is a nationally syndicated AM - FM Radio Show, with almost 100 affiliate radio stations and growing. The combined radio broadcast population exceeds 29 million people. The show is adding more stations all the time.
About 2 weeks after airing on radio episodes are converted to a podcast, which has always been free. That means people can listen to any episode, at anytime they want, from anywhere they are for free. Most use their smart phones.
The radio show version of the show is pitched to radio stations as doing for radio what the true crime channels do for television. Yes, we have had many guests on from Investigation Discovery Channel shows, and plan on more in the future. The radio show is syndicated by Talk Media Network.
You can listen to podcast version episodes right here on our website. If you are interested in being a guest, or adding the radio show version to your radio station go to our Contact Page.
