Narcos  the TV Show. The Real DEA agents that Took Down Pablo Escobar.  Retired D.E.A. Agents Javier Pena and Steve Murphy are our guests. Javier and Steve are the DEA Agents whose work in Columbia inspired the hit tv show “Narcos” on Netflix. They both talk about their careers as cops in small towns before joining the DEA. Steve and Javier talk about the many years they spent taking down Pablo Escobar, who at that time was the world’s most powerful narco-terrorist. They shed unique insight about the real dangers, difficulties and heroes that ended Pablo's reign of terror. They also talk about their new book and other projects.

John J. Wiley is a retired Police Sergeant turned radio personality. He has been a full time FM Music Radio DJ since 2005. In 2017 he founded the Law Enforcement Today Podcast, in a partnership with Robert Greenberg of Law Enforcement Today. The show is now named the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast.
Within a couple months a radio station heard an episode of the podcast and asked him to create a radio version, which he did. It has been syndicated since the Spring of 2017 and has numerous affiliate radio stations across the US.
